Treatment of HIV
When the HIV kills the cells in the body, one gets sick. To get better, the person needs to go to hospital and see a doctor who will give treatment. The treatment includes giving medicines for treating HIV. These medicines are called Anti-retrovirals (ARVs).
A person taking ARVs has to follow the instructions given by the doctor. One who has HIV also needs to take a balanced diet, play and exercise. A balanced diet has proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and water.
