1. The Kenyans parliament is made up of three chambers.

2. The national assembly is made of 350 members including the speaker.

3. All members of the senate are elected from the county governments.

4. Independent candidates can be elected as MPs in either chamber.

5. Parliamentary elections are held once every five years on 27^th December of the election year
